Biography: Raised in Gary (Indiana), Denver, and Sacramento. Board of Trustees, Massachusetts College of Art (1991-93). Honorable Mention, College Art Association, Professional Development Fellowship, 1998. Blanche E. Coleman Award, 2000. African American Masters Artist in Residence Program (AAMARP), Northeastern University (Boston). Artist's Residency, Blue Mountain Center, Blue Mountain Lake (NY), 2004. Exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Boston, New York, Providence, Washington, DC, and Toronto, including solo exhibitions at Emmanuel College, Boston (2000); the Museum of the National Center of Afro-American Artists, Boston (2003); Rhode Island College (2004); and a two-person exhibition at Brandeis University, in association with the conference "Telling the Story: Power and Responsibility in Documenting Human Rights Abuses," 2005. Faculty member, Massachusetts College of Art, Northeastern University, Boston Museum School (2005-06).
